Background & Current Focus
Jeff devotes his practice to assisting commercial and corporate clients. His clients have run the gamut from Fortune 100 companies to single member LLCs and sole proprietorships. Jeff enjoys confronting the unique challenges facing each of his clients and working to find practical solutions that harmonize the client’s competitive and financial goals. Some of Jeff’s core practice areas include:
- Start-ups and entity formation, including planning and executing entity formation strategies across various jurisdictions, developing employee incentive programs, creating and implementing corporate governance structures, and ensuring continuing compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Protecting intellectual property rights, specifically, using the various IP regimes to craft custom protection strategies and developing workable solutions to exploit, transfer, purchase, or enforce IP rights
- Coaching clients through complex commercial transactions and developing flexible strategies to ensure clients achieve their desired ends in the face of changing circumstances
- Using the litigation process to assert or defend clients’ rights, including devising novel litigation strategies to facilitate the process without needlessly driving up costs
